The American Pie Company: Indulge in Authentic American Comfort Food

Dad and I only get up to Sherman for Sunday breakfast once every couple months, but it is ALWAYS a wonderful treat! The food is delicious, the portion sizes are perfect (my favorite, and usual order, is the crab cakes benny!) and the price is great for what you get. Morgan usually takes care of us and, despite the fact that we aren't there frequently, she remembers us every time!

Food as great and plentiful. Dave the owner was most gracious and Katie our waitress was very nice. Food was fresh and many choices to pick from. We brought dessert home with us. We live over an hour away, but will be back! Something here for everyone

Everything is always delicious and reasonably priced. Service is fast and friendly. If there's a wait....its worth it!

I heard of this place for years and recognized their sign when I drove by. Turned around and went back. Wow! What a gem! Country Bakery and cozy, warm dinning room. Good home cooking, plus some fine dishes. Fresh, wholesome ingredients. The Bakery is just Heaven. Plus you can buy soups, shepherds pies, pot pies, and other goodies stocked in their freezer. The Pumpkin Bread, Raspberry Pound Cake and Apple Bread are just simply moist, flavorful, fresh and delicious! Cannot wait to go have one of their sumptuous breakfasts. Lunch and Dinner dishes looked fantastic! People all smiling and loving their food and just enjoying the simple pleasures of casual dinning with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The Owner and Staff friendly, welcoming and work so hard to make this gem so worth coming too. My new favorite place. Thank you American Pie Company! You are a rare, very special place. Delicious!!!!! So happy with the taste of everything I tried. It was hard to stop and every plate that walked past looked and smelled so good. I had Irish mimosa, potato cakes with hash and scrambled eggs and cheese... spiced apples, bacon and a biscuit.

This place is very cute and accommodating. It’s a great spot for comfort food. They were very kind to our big group and the prices are reasonable. Appetizers were great - we had chicken fingers and fries. The chicken pot pie was solid but I think could have had some more flavor - the bottom pie crust was also burnt. The French onion soup would be better with less bread inside it and a bit more cheese on top in my opinion.

This was our first visit here. The food was fantastic. I had the BBQ brisket pile-up special, and my wife had the smoked salmon benedict. We ordered a slice of key lime pie and apple crumb pie to go. Highly recommend! We will be back, despite the long drive for us.
